Ingredients

Whole grain bread:

  • 2 slices

Sliced turkey:

  • 100 g

Ripe avocado:

  • 1/2

Lettuce:

  • A few leaves

Tomato:

  • 1, sliced

Salt and pepper:

  • To taste

Optional:

  • Cheese jalapeños, or mayonnaise

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Start by washing the lettuce and slicing the tomato. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Mash the avocado in a bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Toast the Bread (Optional): µ

  • If you prefer a crunchy texture, lightly toast the whole grain bread slices until golden brown.

Assemble the Sandwich:

  • On one slice of bread, spread the mashed avocado evenly. Layer the sliced turkey on top of the avocado, followed by the lettuce and tomato slices. If desired, add cheese, jalapeños, or a spread of mayonnaise.

Finish the Sandwich:

  • Place the second slice of bread on top to complete the sandwich. Press down gently to hold everything together.

Serve:

  • Cut the sandwich in half for easy handling and serve immediately. Enjoy with a side of sweet potato fries or your favorite chips!
