Ingredients

Banana:

  • 1 ripe

Rolled Oats:

  • 1 cup

Milk:

  • 1/2 cup dairy or plant-based

Baking Powder:

  • 1 teaspoon

Vanilla Extract:

  • 1/2 teaspoon

Salt:

  • 1/4 teaspoon

Optional Add-ins:

  • Cinnamon
  • chocolate chips
  • nuts for added flavor

Instructions

Blend the Ingredients:

  • In a blender, combine the ripe banana, rolled oats, milk, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Prepare the Pan:

  • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with cooking spray or a small amount of oil.

Cook the Pancakes:

  • Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set.

Flip and Finish:

  • Carefully flip the pancakes and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
